1st   Miss N De Lavis Trafford  -  Ch Tyburn Faedra
2nd  Mrs G Reeve -  Mimbre Marauder with Harkeats ShCM
3rd  Ms C Wicker - Ch Mimbre Memphis Belle
Res Mr & Mrs Hemsells  - Tetani Princess of Darkness ShCM
vhc Mrs B O'Neill - Ch Eaglespur Piper at Megellan

CRITIQUE
1st Ch.Tyburn Faedra, a 9 year old lady and although she was a little shaky today she remains elegant and very keen.  Moved well and still sustains lovely markings although slightly faded now.  Her ears were unsettled but at 9 years I would not hold this against her.

2nd Mimbre Marauder with Harkeats ShCM.  This old boy was playing up for his handler today and was unsettled by something.  He is full of substance and well made resulting in good movement in all directions.  In good hard condition with an excellent coat.

Class 2 Special Veteran Dog or Bitch (10years and over)(4, 2abs)
1st   Miss & Mrs Clifton - Ch Gloryline Rose of Tudor
2nd  Mrs B O'Neill  -  Alvediston Eclipse at Megellan

CRITIQUE
1st Ch Gloryline Rose of Tudor, I was very impressed with this lady, she had an elegance about her and was very smart.  I would like to have judged her in her younger days and I am sure she would have been stunning in her heyday.  She remains sound and balanced and very keen.  Liked her movement towards and in profile.

2nd  Alvediston Eclipse at Megellan  -  Another keen lady who was feminine and elegant.  Her movement today was also good but lost out as 1 held a better topline.

Class 3 Minor Puppy Dog (1,0)
1st Kirkbride and Ging -  Gorau Grymus

CRITIQUE
1st Gorau Grymus, a youngster of only 7 months very new to showing and not sure of his role yet.  He has strong dark markings and an excellent coat.  He kept wanting to sit down which made critiquing him difficult.  His ears appear slightly heavy at present but he is still young with some growing to do.
Will look out for in the future to see how he settles.

Class 4 Puppy Dog ( 4, 1abs)
1st   Dunford & Akrigg - Quixol Alexander
2nd  Mr S Morris - Mansiya Word to the Wise at Calastoa
3rd   Hockley & Roberts  -  Harkeats Intrepid Icon at Gwenkaz

CRITIQUE
1st Quixol Alexander, a bigger type young male who shows lots of promise.  Those of you watching would see in the line up I had my eye on him for Res Best Dog and in time I am sure he will be well rewarded.  Today his front movement needed to settle but he is only a youngster. He is well constructed with good shoulder, body, front and strong back end.  Well marked.

2nd Mansiya Word to the Wise at Calastoa - This youngster has a very good front presentation with legs well set under body giving a pleasing front profile when standing.  Tail carried higher than 1st which spoilt his outline on the move.  He was a little restless on the table but again he is only a youngster so I allowed for this.  In typical Manchester style stood calmer in the line up for his critique.

Class 5 Junior Dog (5,0)
1st    Mr & Mrs Beardows - Talanors Hellova Treat for Sipowitz
2nd   Mrs & Miss Bodsworth - Brockenella's Bleddyn
3rd   Mrs & Miss Cliftons - Gloryline Henry the Seventh
res   Hockley & Roberts  -  Harkeats Intrepid Icon at Gwenkaz
vhc  Mr & Mrs Forshaws - Janzins Rock Star

CRITIQUE
1st Talanors Hellova Treat for Sipowitz, here is a very well handled young dog who moved extremely well.  I would say he is spot on for size and for a youngster he is masculine whilst retaining his elegance.  He has a lot of promise for the breed and in my opinion excels in all breed points.  Today he kept overstretching himself and lost his rise over the loin when standing.  When he stood nice he was stunning.  Res Best Dog.

2nd Brockenellas Bleddyn.  Another elegant dog, slightly finer than 1.  Moved well .  He has good markings and a rich tan.  Today he tended to hunch up frequently whilst standing which spoilt his profile and gave an unbalanced view of his rear angulation.

3rd Gloryline Henry the Seventh. He has pleasing markings and a strong masculine head.  Lost out on his front profile today.

Class 6 Beginners Dog (2,0)
1st   Mrs & Miss Bodsworth - Brockenella's Bleddyn
2nd  Hockley & Roberts  -  Harkeats Intrepid Icon at Gwenkaz

CRITIQUE
1st Brockenellas Bleddyn (see Junior Dog)

2nd Harkeats Intrepid Icon at Gwenkaz, a youngster who was unsettled in this new environment.  Difficult to critique his movement with him been unsettled.  His expression was pleasing and he has a strong head with a lovely dark almond eye.  Excellent coat and in good condition.

Class 7 Maiden Dog (1,0)
1st  Hockley & Roberts  -  Harkeats Intrepid Icon at Gwenkaz

CRITIQUE
1st  Harkeats Intrepid Icon at Gwenkaz Improved movement in these later classes as he settled down.  Remains promising.

Class 8 Novice Dog (1,0)

2nd  Ms J A Wood Westwytch Zodiac Zoom
3rd   Mr & Mrs Symington Quixol Havoc
Res  Mr & Mrs Forshaws - Janzins Rock Star
vhc   Mrs J Brown - Eaglespur Red Flame

CRITIQUE
1st  Digelsa Dionysis, his balanced muscular condition reflects in his elegance and rewarded his movement with a strong balanced drive.  His side profile is to the standard with good turn of stifle.  He had a straight front and good markings.  Well handled with attention to detail completing the overall picture and rewarding his final place today.

2nd Westwytch Zodiac Zoom,  a balanced and compact dog with lovely ears and a keen almond eye.  He is nicely marked with a good coat and a nice deep chest.  Stood pleasing in the line up with a well bent stifle and gentle rise over the loin.

Class 10 Post Graduate Dog (6,0)
1st    Brocklebank & Harrison Corduroys Icon at Bellbrock
2nd  Mrs L Dohertys Hagrid Tobias Longbottom
3rd   St Clair & Bell Mimbre First Mate
Res  Ms J A Wood Westwytch Zodiac Zoom
vhc   Mr & Mrs Symington Quixol Havoc

CRITIQUE
1st  Corduroys Icon at Bellbrock, Lots of positive breed points on this dog and in my notes I have written couldnt fault him.  He is in good condition and well muscled.  In the final line up for best dog his profile was marred by a flatter top line and his movement was not as strong as in his class. This dog has lots to offer the breed and being a youngster I hope he goes on and fulfils my expectations.

2nd Hagrid Tobias Longbottom.  Another elegant compact dog with a pleasing head and lovely almond shaped eye.  Overall he was well marked but lost out on certain points.  Whilst straighter in stifle than 1 he still moved well.

Class 11 Limit Dog (1, 1abs)
1st Miss N Jeynes -  Browdell Black Muskateer ShCM

CRITIQUE
1st  Browdell Black Muskateer ShCM,  in excellent condition showing balanced muscle in his rear quarters.  He carried his tail a little high on the move at times.  He has a good stifle but topline tends to have a slightly higher rise over the loin at times.  He is a well marked dog, stronger tan on the chest
would have compleated the picture.

Class 12 Open Dog  ( 6,2abs)
1st   Mr S Morris - Ch Calastoa Amber Nectar
2nd  Mr & Mrs T Pyne  -  Newtonian Black Rod
3rd  Mr & Mrs Hebb -  Ch Sophyla Sterling Silver from Bellbrock JW ShCM
res   Fitch & Reeve -  Westwytch Calico Cadeau
vhc  Ms C Wicker  -  Mimbre Mister Solo

CRITIQUE
1st   Ch Calastoa Amber Nectar, on the top size of ideal for a male but he is balanced, in proportion and well marked.  Excellent ear carriage and strong masculine head.  His front is strong and he has a deep chest.  He proved a little unsettled in the line up but he was my Best Dog on the day.

2nd  Newtonian Black Rod, he didnt show his best in the line up today.  His movement was good and he was well handled.  He is tighter in front than 1.

Class 15 Minor Puppy Bitch (2,0)
1st Mrs & Miss Evans -  Coombelane New Beginnings
2nd Kirkbridge & Ging  -  Fy Meistres

CRITIQUE
1st Coombelane New Beginnings,  Just reached 6 months and a little unsettled as to be expected.  Overall pleasing make up, she has a lovely front and well marked.  Her ears are settled and she has a wicked almond dark eye.  Very Promising.

2nd Fy Meistres  Also unsettled which made it difficult to critique.

Class 16, Puppy Bitch  (3, 0)
1st   Mr & Mrs Coleclough - Quixol Desdemona at Coleburke
2nd  Mrs G Reeve -  Harkeats Imperial Imp
3rd   Dunford & Akrigg - Quixol Pandora

CRITIQUE
This was the hardest class of the day and all were worthy of 1st place, however that was not possible.  This shows promise for the future of the breed.
1st Quixol Desdemona at Coleburke, an elegant pretty bitch slightly finer than the others in the class.  Well carried ears giving a balanced expression. Could improve on back feet with time.

2nd Harkeats Imperial Imp, a maturer sound bitch that is put together well.  Reflected in positive movement with drive.  She is keen and alert and full of go and One certainly fit for purpose.

Class 17 Junior Bitch (4,2)
1st    Mrs G Reeve -  Harkeats Imperial Imp
2nd   Miss N De Lavis Trafford  -  Kimbelwick Tallulah with Tyburn

CRITIQUE
1st (as puppy bitch)

2nd Kimbelwick Tallulah with Tyburn, A little unsettled but a pretty bitch with a sweet feminine expression.  Responded well to careful handling.  She is alert and keen but there was a lot of pacing in her stride. Still felt her movement was sound. She is very individual and I hope she settles in the future.

Class 18 Beginners Bitch (1,0)
1st   Mrs J Spenser  - Manchenoir Monsoon Model

CRITIQUE
1st Manchenoir Monsoon Model, still fairly young at only 17 months with some maturing to go. Difficult to see her profile to critique her with justice.  When she passes the leggy stage and matures in chest it would be good to see again.

CRITIQUE
1st  The Prettiest feminine bitch here on the day.  Her ears were well set, head and a good crest of neck.  Her overall profile showed a sound flowing bitch. If this bitch was ½ inch taller then I am sure we would have seen a lot more of her in the results.  I am not going to penalise her for that and anyone who goes over this bitch will be pleasantly surprised. Best In Show.

2nd I preferred the topline of 1, she had a good front and her movement was ok.  She was well presented.
